Skateasaurus Rex
I love T-Shirts designs (anyone who knows my Threadless collection will attest to that.) and I thought this one was simple but very cute. What I love is the big smile, elbow pads on the T-Rex’s short arms and extra padding for his tail. I got it for my nephew who will be sure to [...]

Indomie Mi Goreng with Nando’s Peri Peri Sauce – Geek Food
Talking about noodles, one geek food recipe I’ve always wanted to try was Indomie Mi Goreng with Nando’s Peri Peri sauce. The recipe was simple, make the Indomie as per the packet instructions, place an egg on top and add the Peri Peri sauce. It’s a fantastic variant for a late night fast hunger buster [...]

Ryo’s Ramen – Crows Nest
Ryo’s Ramen situated in Crows Nest is one of the trinity of ramen shops in Sydney (which includes Genki in Artarmon & Menya in the CBD). Off the three places, Ryo’s is my favoruite with the queue to get in the only problem. The broth is absolutely fantastic and their ramen is easily the tastiest.

Cosplay – Harley Quinn – Poison Ivy – Storm Trooper – Sydney Armageddon
Thought I’d share some cosplay photos taken at Sydney Armageddon (Comic Convention). Unfortunately I had to use the Canon G11 and didn’t have the opportunity to use my standard camera Canon 40D (paired with 17-55 f2.8). However I saw some awesome costumes of some Batman villians and the cutest storm trooper!

Char Kway Teow – Penang – Sister
As a follow to “What makes a good Char Kway Teow?”, I thought I’d show you what was considered by some as the best Char Kway Teow in Penang. It’s from a shop called Sister’s located on Macalister Road.
I doubt you can find anything even remotely like it anywhere else in the world. Penang [...]

Gyoza – Canon G11 – Photo
Been a while since the last food post and I thought it would be a great opportunity to test out my new Canon G11. Whilst not as sharp as a 40D SLR, it still can create some crisp images even in the below low light conditions with the aperture opened to 2.8. Anyway . . [...]

Parcel in the mail – Threadless T-Shirt – ET – Owl – City
It’s been a great day in the mailbox for me, first Frankie’s amazing present to my Threadless T-Shirts! I love the fantastic envelope it comes in. The below are photos of the actual shirts themselves so excuse any wrinkles. The ET Phone Home design is especially cute, so if you see someone wearing one of [...]

Burlington Bar and Dining – Steak – Squid – Tiramisu
It’s a been a while since my last food post so I thought I’d slip one more in before 2010 rolls in. Nestled in Crows Nest is Burlington Bar and Dining which has some scrumptious food. I’d let the photos (taken by Toshio) do the talking.

Sydney Harbour Bridge – Grass Picnic
Fancy a picnic on the Sydney Harbour Bridge? That’s exactly what happened, they laid out almost 3km of grass to cover the entire motorway for 6000 lucky residents to enjoy a breakfast picnic on the harbour bridge. The predicted rains kept away and it was a sensational morning!
