French artist Geoffo is the current featured artist (who was bitten by a radioactive pen when he was born). His showcase is an amazing mix of some of comics’ most recognisable characters (namely Superman, Spider-man, Batman and Wolverine).

Thought I’d share some cosplay photos taken at Sydney Armageddon (Comic Convention). Unfortunately I had to use the Canon G11 and didn’t have the opportunity to use my standard camera Canon 40D (paired with 17-55 f2.8). However I saw some awesome costumes of some Batman villians and the cutest storm trooper!

Getting the chance to meet Tim Sale was awesome already! Managing to obtain a couple of sketches was the icing on the cake. In the previous post, I sent one of the sketches to a friend of mine.

Tim Sale’s autograph in my Heroes Volume 1 [...]

I managed to get 2 awesome sketches from Tim Sale (Heroes, Batman – Dark Victory). I asked of one of Hiro from Heroes. Loved the facial expression and the “Yatta!”. The second sketch was a Batman one for a friend of mine who will be absolutely shocked when he gets it in the mail!

After asking why she was known as the Brisbane Catwoman, previous featured artist Noelle Dreves provided this site with the below picture. It’s a very impressive costume with homage to Michelle Pfeiffer’s look in Batman Returns. Be careful sharing the bench with this cat!
