The Kickstarter for Transhuman has now been bubbling away with 10 days to go. Thank you so much for all your support. Let’s keep getting the word around and see how far it can go! There’s 2 amazing covers that you can choose from and if you can’t decide? Grab both!

If we break through our backer stretch goal or funding stretch goal, I will be adding a 3 page prologue to the story with amazing artwork by Sebastian Navas and coloured by Kevin Anthony De Castro. Sebastian has provided some cool layouts to show you what’s coming if we make it!

The action picks up from the cliffhanger in the previous volume! Our heroes find themselves in the Eastern Nations with a mysterious stranger who has been stalking them. Are Dimitri and Sparky OK? What will happen next?

The Prelaunch Page for Transhuman is up on IndieGoGo. I’m still in development and I’m aiming to launch the campaign later in 2020. At the moment, I’m working with Sydney creative Chris Pitcairn to find the correct colour theme for the project. Colour will play a subtle but important role in this graphic novel.

Transhuman is very character driven. The protagonist’s life (Rivka) is a mess and she’s barely functioning through the day. It does explore a lot of her pain as well as her steps towards redemption.

So many things are happening here at Sigmate Studio. I thought it would be a good opportunity to use this post to do a quick recap.

Word Smith

I’m still waiting on the original artwork to arrive from Poland. I’ll be able to complete the final reward shipment when they are here. Thanks for your patience! The next volume of Word Smith will be going into full production in July. This will be very exciting if it progresses well as it will allow me to take it for crowdfunding towards the end of 2020. The artist and colourist are both lined up and ready to go.

Terralympus

Volume 2 is in the process of getting put together for printing. The first print run should be in August and rewards to go out around that time. The original sketches are due to arrive in August so they shouldn’t be any delay there. Illustrating for Volume 3 will commence in July! I am doing everything possible to shorten the timeframe for both Terralympus and Word Smith so you don’t have to wait for the next exciting chapter.

Transhuman

Wait there’s still more? A sleeper project I’ve had on the backburner is moving into colouring in July as well! I’ve engaged Sydney colourist, Chris Pitcairn on this one and it will get started on this. I’ve attached a sneak peek on the artwork by illustrator, Allen Sands.

Whew . . all 3 projects (Word Smith, Transhuman and Terralympus) are going into production in July, it’s going to be an absolute crazy period for me. I’ll try my best to keep sharing updates as they happen.

The Terralympus Indiegogo is finishing up soon! Thanks for everyone’s support to help bring this project to live. There’s just over a day to go so don’t miss out! Production will go full steam ahead in the next few days and I’m hoping to get it ready to print ASAP.

The next Word Smith graphic novel is hopefully going into the production soon. P.R. Dedelis should be starting the pencils on the main story in July and I’m hoping to get it out for crowdfunding later this year. The first arc of Word Smith has been outlined and I’m really excited to be able to slowly share it with you!
