Comic Writing – Narrative – How to?

This will be the first of many posts focused on comic writing (graphic novels). Comic writing is a very different art form from a short story, novel or even a movie script. Secret Invasion TPB – Marvel

Last week I finally picked up the TPB of Marvel’s Secret Invasion which collates all eight issues of the series. I’ve been keeping my head under the proverbial rock to make sure the story […]

2 months in review

It’s now just over 2 months since I started this website. I’ve completed my first submission to a Melbourne based comic anthology. Just hoping it can be accepted and my first work published! Found some great artist and posted up some more commissions. At the moment I’m still working on my art. It’s not quite […]

TANGO 8 – Recap

Whew . . it’s been an interesting week and a bit but I’ve covered the entire design process for my Tango 8 submission from beginning to end. I’m pleased as a first attempt to get published! There’s another project (actually 2 other projects) but still very much in the scripting / design phase. Anyway follow […]

TANGO 8 – Final Submission

This is where it all comes together. Inking and lettering were digitally done. Unfortunately the picture is a little distorted after shrinking to fit the site but the words are still “just” legible. Enjoy!
