Phoenix – Darth Vader – Tygra by Rémi Dousset

After an amazing Galactus showcase by featured artist Rémi Dousset, I thought it would be great to showcase more of his works. All three below showcases are fantastic, I especially the Tygra (Thundercats have a certain nostalgia with me) bust. Darth Vader : Phoenix : Tygra (Thundercats) :

Elektra – Sale – Dean Juliette

A while ago I showcased an Elektra showcase (with original sketch) by featured artist Dean Juliette. A copy of this is now on sale at eBay for a reasonable price! Click on the above link or the picture for you chance to own this piece of original artwork.

Birthday – iPhone – Preview Zatanna by Dean Juliette

Last week I offered a sneak peek at this year’s Zatanna birthday sketch. The full image will be showcased tomorrow, so keep watching this site. As a special I thought I would put last year’s birthday sketch as the lock screen for the iPhone. Enjoy!

Spider-Man and Wolverine by Paul Mason

I recently featured a Spider-Man by Paul Mason, here’s the second piece I had commissioned. Unfortunately I have to give it Wolverine it really came down to a no holds barred, beat down rumble. Logan would go straight for the jugular (literally) and ole’ Peter wouldn’t really stand much of chance! Tell me if you […]

Spider-Man by Paul Mason – Armageddon Sydney Convention

The most recent comic convention had people dressed as Harley Quinn but it was also a great chance to meet Australian artist Paul Mason. Got this awesome Spider-Man sketch from him complete with spaghetti webbing! (The term spaghetti webbing was dubbed by Tom DeFalco during McFarlane’s run on Amazing Spider-Man.)

Dinosaurs by Sara Richard

Another impressive showcase by previous featured artist Sara Richard. As I mentioned before the linework is absolutely stunning! Love the details, like the fish in the bottom right corner. Sketch : Final : In her interview, Sara mentioned she did some sculpting work for Hasbro. Check out the below links to see some of her […]

Zatanna by Pasquale Qualano

A great Zatanna showcase by Pasquale Qualano, I think the rabbit was a very cute touch. Checking through previous posts, it seems like Zatanna is one of the favourite characters to be done. How do you think this piece compares to the previous artists’ representations? Zatanna by Dion Hamill Zatanna by Dean Juliette

The One by Pasquale Qualano

For Christmas, I managed to sneak in one of Pasquale’s artwork. Now I have the opportunity of posting up more, showcasing his works on The One. His preliminary sketch is brilliant, capturing the movement of the horse as the rider pulls back on the reins. The final colours are muted but excellent. Preliminary Sketch : […]

Star Wars – To Catch a Princess by Dion Hamill

Featured artist Dion Hamill is today’s guest author as he describes in detail the step by step process involved in creating this particular showcase piece. The final result is absolutely amazing! Dion Hamill – Guest Post : I thought I would create a short step by step for my latest artwork featuring some Star Wars […]

Wolverine by Ryan Benjamin and Adam Cline

An impressive Wolverine showcase to start off 2010 with pencils by Ryan Benjamin with inks and colours done by previous featured artist Adam Cline. Love the dynamic angle of the sketch (looks like he’s just about to pounce into a fight) and the colouring is superb! Wolverine – Pencils : Wolverine – Inks : Wolverine […]
