Batman – Under the Red Hood Trailer : Coming out 27 July 2010, I’m eagerly anticipating the release of this one! DC has done a great job on these DVDs (loved the last Green Lantern one)! If the storyline follows the comics, I already know the identity of the Red Hood but it’ll be great […]

Spider-Man by Paul Mason – Armageddon Sydney Convention
The most recent comic convention had people dressed as Harley Quinn but it was also a great chance to meet Australian artist Paul Mason. Got this awesome Spider-Man sketch from him complete with spaghetti webbing! (The term spaghetti webbing was dubbed by Tom DeFalco during McFarlane’s run on Amazing Spider-Man.)

Ryo’s Ramen – Crows Nest
Ryo’s Ramen situated in Crows Nest is one of the trinity of ramen shops in Sydney (which includes Genki in Artarmon & Menya in the CBD). Off the three places, Ryo’s is my favoruite with the queue to get in the only problem. The broth is absolutely fantastic and their ramen is easily the tastiest. […]

Spider-man – City Lights by Dion Hamill
An amazing (pun intended) Spider-man by featured artist Dion Hamill. This resembles the works of Alex Ross. It’s not always easy getting the propotions right when foreshortening Spidey’s left hand and right leg but Dion definitely nails it! Make sure you check out his blog for more of his work. He’s also got some fantastic […]
