Onion Rings at Ribs & Burgers
I may have previously mentioned but one of my favourite foods is onion rings. Recently found a place that has incredible onion rings (Ribs & Burgers @ Neutral Bay). They are absolutely perfect served piping hot with some Thousand Island dressing (provided) and a nice cold drink!

Black Star Pastry – Rosebery – New
From Pork Belly to something sweet. Black Star Pastry has recently opened its second branch in Rosebery! The Newtown branch was always a little difficult to get to so glad with this new place opening up. The Strawberry and Watermelon cake was great with the layer of watermelon adding a nice freshness to the cake. […]

Pork Belly Bun
Haven’t had a food post for a while now. Thought I’d share this one, stewed pork belly sandwich in between a soft white chinese bun. Mmmm . . . I feel like another one right now.

Dark Knight Coffee
Had a chuckle when I saw this the other day. Because he’s the coffee Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we’ll roast him, because he can take it. Because he’s not our coffee. He’s a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.

Roast Pork Baguette – Honey Mayo – Brie – Taste Baguette
From the last pancake and crepe post, I have since discovered a new craving. The bread is baked fresh every 15 minutes with brie, honey mayo, lettuce and roast pork (with crackling) to make a fantastic tasting baguette. So far I’ve had this twice already and I’m thinking of when I can next go back!

Crepes and Pancakes
It’s always good to thrown in the occassional food post. A recent visit to Pancakes on the Rocks, I can’t resist but I usually go for one savoury dish (mexicana with mushrooms on the side) and one sweet (blueberry pancakes with one pancakes substituted for crepes). All photos taken with a Canon 40D paired with […]

Ayam Goreng Sambal
It’s a been a while since the last food post. Thought I’d share this one, it’s the most incredible sambal (chilli) at this Indonesian restaurant. You can see the chilli seeds literally dripping in the sauce. Their specialty is fried chicken (Ayam Goreng), it’s very hot but oh so good.

Nando’s Baby Burger
I’ve always been partial to a nice chilli burger (and I love Hungry Jacks) so I had to sample Nando’s new Baby Burger with HOT peri-peri sauce. The burger was nice stacked and delicious although I would have preferred a softer bread, they used a crusty bread roll for this. The mayonnaise did blend well […]

Indomie Mi Goreng Jumbo – Tom Yum – Instant Noodles
For those who love their instant noodles, I posted about Indomie Mi Goreng with Peri Peri a few days ago. I thought I’d showcase the packets of my two favourite (and best) instant noodles, Indomie Mi Goreng (as you know) and Mama Tomyum noodles. The Tomyum noodles are not for the faint of heart as […]

Indomie Mi Goreng with Nando’s Peri Peri Sauce – Geek Food
Talking about noodles, one geek food recipe I’ve always wanted to try was Indomie Mi Goreng with Nando’s Peri Peri sauce. The recipe was simple, make the Indomie as per the packet instructions, place an egg on top and add the Peri Peri sauce. It’s a fantastic variant for a late night fast hunger buster […]
