Spying with Lana – Case of the Mysterious Brunette
My first writing collaboration with Sean Harrington with sexy spy Lana. It was brilliant to see the pages come and the story develop. I’ve already started thinking about a next story!

Synopsis

Back at the agency.
Chief apologies that he forgot to read the letter from the mysterious brunette. Evidently mysterious brunette is a big fan from another agency and she was reviewing Lana’s old case files.

Panel 1 -

Chief : Sorry Lana but I found the rest of the letter.
Must have accidentally ripped it.
It says . . .
” I’m Lana’s biggest fan! Would like to match my skill with Lana. Tell her to meet me at the
abandoned warehouse 13 by the pier at 10pm. Lana has to come alone.”

Chief is apologising to Lana.

Panel 2 –

Lana – So who was she?

Lana is angy and demanding answers.

Panel 3 -

Lana – Although she was a great kisser.

Focus on Lana’s upper body.
She has a very nostalgic smile.

Panel 4 -

Chief – She’s one of the top agents from another agency and she just wanted to meet you.
Oh well it was a total bust, the CCTV caught some amazing footage of the 2 of you.

Lana is looking very despondent.
Chief continues talking and holding up a DVD.

Panel 5 -

Chief – *sigh* This would have covered a lot of the operating costs . .

(Reminiscent of Case 1)
Lana shoots the DVD.
The Chief is holding half a DVD.

Synopsis :

Girl on Girl.
Rest of the agents turned up and catch Lana is a very compromising position.

Panel 1 – Top view again

MB – I’ve always admired your work.
I had to learn everything I could from your other field agents.
Lana – That’s why you tortured Josh?
MB – Ummm . . yes . . tortured Josh.

CCTV is focused on the two of them.
Red dot still indicates recording.
Foreground Lana and MB almost naked with Lana on top.

Panel 2 -

MB – I’ve wanted to see you fight.
Lana – That’s why you challenged Frida.
MB – Yes . . I wanted to see if I could defeat Frida like you did.
Lana – She wasn’t too tough.
MB – I’m so glad you turned up. Let me show my appreciation . .

MB and Lana now both naked now.
Both feeling each other up.

Panel 3 -

This will be the big money panel.
Lana and MB in a very compromising position.

Panel 4 -

Chief, Doug and other agents rush in catching Lana and MB in a very sexy position.

This page was actually very easy to write as there wasn’t much dialogue involved. I left a lot of the actual angles etc. to Sean as he can do a fantastic job with action sequences. I guess it depends on the artist on how much description to provide, some want more direction, some prefer the freedom.

Synopsis :

The fight between Lana and the MB.
Less of a fight than the 2 of them ripping each other clothes off.

Panel 1 -

MB is wearing nothing but bra and panties under the trenchcoat.
Lana rips her bra in 1/2.

Panel 2 -

MB retaliates by ripping the zipper section of Lana’s leather jumpsuit.

Panel 3 -

MB tries to throw a punch but Lana ducks under the punch.

Panel 4 -

Lana tackles MB to the ground after ducking the punch.

Panel 5 –

Lana : I want answers. Why are you trying to kill me?
MB : Kill you? I’m your biggest fan!
Lana : Huh?

Lana has MB pinned to ground. Hand across MB’s neck.

MB embraces Lana and gives her a passionate kiss.

Synopsis :

Meet an abandoned warehouse.
Fight with mysterious brunette.

Lana is walking in from the front doors. MB is standing in the middle wearing a trenchcoat (as per Page 2).
In the foreground the CCTV camera is facing Lana.

MB – I’m so glad you came!

MB turns around to face Lana.
She’s smiling.

Panel 3 -
Small panel. Focus on the MB’s face. From the smiling face, it’s one of horror now.

Panel 4 –

Why MB is horrified should be evident now. Lana has leapt and about to crash tackle MB.

Panel 5 – (Money Shot Panel)
Lana has tackled the MB. This should the big panel of the page.
Try to keep as much motion in this frame as Lana tackles MB to the ground.

Synopsis :

Lana wonders how she will find the mysterious brunette.

Panel 1 -

Lana – Why is she following up on all my cases? Is she trying to find a weakness?
Chief – Possibly so. Everyone is worried about the situation.

Lana is looking worried.
Chief is trying to reassure her.

Panel 2 -

Chief – We’ve received this letter just today. Not sure where the other half is but it reads . . .
” . . kill . . . Lana. Tell her to meet me at the abandoned warehouse 13 by the pier at 10pm. Lana
has to come alone.”
Lana – No one tries to kill me!

Chief is holding up a letter. It’s 1/2 torn.
Lana is very angry.

Panel 3 / 4 / 5- Montage Sequence (Sexy)

Lana is changing out of the sweater gym clothes and putting on a leather jumpsuit.

Page 6 -

Chief – Wait . . .

She jumps into a ferrari and speeds off.
Chief is background.

Synopsis

Review of previous story Case 4. Chief explains how footage on catfight with Frida went “missing”.

Similar panel layout to Page 2.

Panel 1 – Tall panel on the left.

Lana is looking at bunch of photos.
You can make out Frida (cowgirl) from the photos.
The chief is explaining more of the situation.

Chief : Remember Frida, the pole dancing, naked catfighting, flabby thigh cowgirl, head of security
for the Archduke?
Frida : Sounds familiar.
Chief : Well the mysterious brunette got to her too . . .

Panel 2 – Flashback Panel

Chief voiceover : It was vicious.

Frida wearing nothing but the cowboy hat throws a right punch.
MB (Mysterious Brunette) steps out of the way. MB’s hair still covering her face.

Panel 3 – Flashback Panel

Chief voiceover : Even though Frida told her everything she knew about you . .

Frida follows up a left punch.
MB blocks the punch.

Panel 4 – Flashback Panel

Chief voiceover : She still challenged her to naked catfighting.

MB follows up with a vicious roundhouse with knocks Frida out.
Her hat goes flying up into the air.

Panel 5 – Flashback Panel

Chief voiceover : It may have seem closed but Frida was outclassed.

Frida collasped on the ground.
Similar to page 2, MB’s feet can be seen walking away.

Update on Page 01 -
I forgot to mention it but it terms of writing I wanted page 1 to end with a cliffhanger. Hence the “Kill You” at the end as it opens up the story and hopefully the intrigue.

Synopsis
Review of Case 2 from previous story.
Chief explains how “Josh” was seduced by the mysterious brunette to tell everything he knew about Lana.

(There’s 2 type of panels. One is the normal panel, the other is the flashback panel. I’ll leave it with you, the best way to handle a flashback panel. Maybe change the borders or make everything in it Sepia rather than in colour?)

Panel 1 – Tall Panel across left of the page
This should stretch from top of the page all the way to the bottom.
The panels to the right are the flashback sequence.
Lana front view looking through the file (from Page 1), the chief is behind his desk.

Lana : How did you compile all this information?
Chief : It wasn’t easy Lana. A lot of good men suffered. Do you remember Josh?
Lana : Sure the idiot who was meant to watch my back and shot me?
Chief : Yes that’s him. Anyway . . .

(The next panels are to the right on Panel 1. They can overlap slightly as the flashback panel)

Panel 2 – Flashback Panel

Chief voiceover : She caught with Josh.

Josh is having a drink from one of the mega cups.
His back is facing the reader.
A manicured hand is taping him on the shoulder.

Panel 3 – Flashback Panel

Chief voiceover : It wasn’t pretty.

Foreground – Mysterious brunette is exposing herself to Josh.
The reader only see’s the trenchcoat from the back. (No nudity yet)
You can’t see her face.
Background – Josh eyes are wide open. The drink is being flung to one site.

Panel 4 – Flashback Panel

Chief voiceover : Poor Josh was tortured vigorously.

Mysterious brunette is riding Josh. Her long brown hair is covering her face.
Josh is in a state of utter bewilderment.

Panel 5 – Flashback Panel

Chief voiceover : Josh couldn’t talk for days at it all.

Josh is lying on the ground with a silly smile of his face.
He’s really out of it at the moment.
In the background you see the mysterious brunette’s feet walking away.
