Damn . . I forgot all about Lap Chiong!
Some places don’t have and substitute with fish cakes which is meant to be healthier!

The graphic novel is great just because of the wealth of information. From “book excerpts” to parallel stories (Arrr . . pirates), it gives so much more depth to the characters which is hard to translate into the movie. I think the movie did a great job though.

hey mysterious sigmate, thanks for visiting my blog =) The most important thing in Char Kuey Teow for me is Lap Chiong(chinese sausage)

On a different note, Im in the middle of reading Watchmen (after the movie which I think was quite a good adaptation) the novel on the other hand feels much slower, possibly because I know how the story is going to turn out. Hopefully the 2nd half of it gets better!
